I believe when you live with an open heart, like i know you do..., Watching a scary movie is like pouring sea water into your spirit cup on purpose! You didn't retreat out of fear, it was spirit preservation (IE never swim in the marina no matter who says the water is fine :-) Thank you for sharing honestly and being strong !!! cheers! FM

The difference is not letting fear stop you.
There is a psychological term for what you are doing it called "flooding". If you are afraid of some thing just do it anyway. Start small and work up to swimming with the sharks.
Manta rays have that spine in their back so don't hug onto one and try to ride it it can be fatal.
